What do I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes.

How long are the tours?

The tours will last between an hour to one and a half hours.

What should I bring?

Please bring water with you as Charleston temperatures and humidity can be high, especially in the spring, summer and fall.  If there is a chance of rain please bring weather appropriate clothing.  Feel free to bring a camera.

What else should I know?

This tour will examine the  architecture, culture, flora, folklore, and history of Charleston from the time of Native American Settlement to the 20th Century.  We will walk through diverse neighborhoods and see  world-famous landmarks of Charleston as well as hidden gardens, cemeterys, lanes, and alleys.    Tours are $20, flat rate.  Tours are limited to 20 guests by Charleston ordinances.  While all people are welcome, if you have special needs or a disability it is important to let me know in advance in order to make accommodations.    Please remember to observe common-sense rules such as wearing sunscreen if it is bright outside, wear comfortable shoes, observe crosswalk and traffic signals and stay out of the street.
